Mercy’s Hair Extensions is owned and operated by Mercy Plant. We have been in business since 2009. We sell premium hair extensions for women. We are a 100% online store that selling internationally. If any further information, please contact us email@example.com .
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The data we collect is the following: name, address, phone, email, payment transaction details (purchase(s) information), and technical data through cookies.
Why do we collection this information?
- Ensure shipping and billing address is correct
- Phone number incase customer needs to be contacted about their order or shipping issues
- Email to send invoices, update orders, and send out sales promotions
Customer information is never sold nor rented. Customers and delete their account or data at anytime via subscription or email.
When a customer signs up for an account their name and email address is collected. Also, when subscribers comment on blog posts or have questions about products, that information is stored in the systems until deleted.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
The media uploaded will be pictures or videos of customers wearing the extensions. These are only posted after administrative approval.
Contact forms include their name, phone, email address, page url, and subject information. The forms are stored until the customer/subscriber request to be removed from the system. We protect client information and privacy secure at all times.

Who we share your data with
We share data with paypal payment transactions. If we are required by law to disclose any required information, then will share. We do not share nor sell any personal data with any other third-party companies.
By default WordPress does not share any personal data with anyone.
How long we retain your data
We currently keep contact forms until the customers request to be unsubscribe.
- Retain inactive accounts two years
- Retain active accounts until the customer or admin unsubscribe
- Retain completed orders no end date
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
Customers/subscribers can choose to enter their data / or create an account where they will be able to view their billing/shipping address, orders, & credit card information. They also have the right to change, update, delete, or unsubscribe at any time via their account, unsubscribe button or email request.
Where we send your data
We are a United States based company. We don’t transfer any data to Europe. We currently only ship packages within Europe.
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

We would begin an internal investigation to determine as well as contact Bluehost, WordPress, and jetpack to begin running scans to see if they can find any issues.
